It is the end of the year and I am making a list, the most appreciated WordPress plugins I have used in 2017. Plugins extend the functionality of WordPress and need to flexibel and trustworthy. Here is my list with some exploitation:

GravityForms
Build anything from a contactform to a ticket-system that organizes your business. Very user- and developer friendly and stable plugin updates. This is not a free plugin, but the investment can be worth it. |

WP Rocket
This is another paid plugin but it has made an innovative leap in 2017. Caching plugins have had a problem with styling above the fold and WP Rocket solved the problem this year. It managed to make a generic system to load styles and scripts in the footer and make a copy of the necessary styles in the head. |

ACF or advanced custom fields is a very flexible and durable way to add meta data to anything in WordPress. It is user- and developer friendly and FREE. Combining this with custom posts it gives you the ability to serve most data models in WordPress. |

Query monitor is a free plugin made for developers, it display’s everything (that is wrong). If your admin bar goes red, you need to fix your issues. |

This plugin shows you what theme template parts have been used to view the current page. It does it from a simply box in the admin bar. If you quickly need to learn the structure of an unfamiliar theme this is your tool. |
